- 『ソウルインディーズ』のSun Parkさん

急遽ゲストとしてプレゼンをしていただいたSun Park氏が運営している交流会の『ソウルインディーズ』をご紹介いただきました。昔、ビットサミットや東京ゲームショーの際に来日した時、東京インディーズや京都インディーズに参加し、韓国のインディーズクリエーターのために同じイベントを作ろうと思ったきっかけで『ソウルインディーズ』を立ち上げました。最近のコロナ禍で、会場で集まることが出来ず、どうやってオンラインでコミュニティーとの繋がりが担保できるのか一つの課題として上がっているとお話いただきました。
2. 竹内さんの『機動倶楽部Gブレイバーバースト』

『機動倶楽部Gブレイバーバースト』では、巨大ロボがお互いにバッテリーを出し合って対戦するという、無料で遊べるブラウザーゲームです。

ほとんど毎週に新しいアップデートが開催され、定期的にチェックしてみたいですね。
3. りょうすけさんの『Rec』
ドット絵アーティストとゲームクリエーターのりょうすけさんは去年の『Unity 1-weekゲームジャム』の際にたアケイクさんと『Rec』というゲームを制作しました。評判がとても良く、『Filmechanism』という名前でフルゲームとして再開発に取り組みました。

4. WaltzLifeさんの『DOOR』

PlayMephistoWaltzは韓国の2人体制のインディースタジオとなります。開発中の『DOOR』という3Dパズルプラットフォームゲームをご紹介いただき、子供の主人公が心の心の世界を修理するため、迷路のようなレベルを彷徨うゲームです。夏にSteamで早期アクセスでリリースする予定です。https://www.playmephistowaltz.com/door
5. Achamothさんの 『触手の店』

Achamothさんに香港を舞台とする新作『触手の店』をご紹介いただきました。独特なゴシックな世界観で、プレイヤーは不思議な触手を発見したり、育てたりするゲームとなっています。放置系ゲームなので、簡単にこの変わった物語を味わうことができます。6月27日・28日に開催された「ビットサミット外伝」のオフィシャルセレクションにも選出されました。

6. Terunonさんの 『AbsentedAge：アブセンテッドエイジ ～亡霊少女のローグライクアクションSRPG』

昼は薬剤師、夜はゲーム・音楽・イラストを作っているTerunonさんは、8本目のゲームの『AbsentedAge：アブセンテッドエイジ ～亡霊少女のローグライクアクションSRPG』を制作しています。
このゲームはSRPGとダンジョンRPGを融合させ、シムレスに探検とバトルを展開し、多くのアイテムや装備のコンビを利用することができます。https://tri-nitroterunon37.wixsite.com/terunon
7. Teco さんと『ヨーロッパ企画のゲームムービー研究所』

多くの番組や映画の脚本を手がけた劇団の『ヨーロッパ企画』は自分のサイトでいくつか変わったフラッシュゲームと動画を作っていました。しかし、今年Flashのサポートが終了したため、ファンとしTecoさんはこの消えそうなゲームを新しくスマホアプリとして移植することを決めて、劇団を手伝います。
現在2本のミニゲームはプレイ可能で、新しいコンテンツはアップデートという形で追加させる予定です。

Indie Collection JAPAN#3 report
The third edition of Indie Collection was held on June 16th, we would like to thank all the presenters and participants again!

As a last minute presenter, we invited Sun to talk about “Seoul Indies”, a meetup he’s organizing after being inspired by Tokyo Indies or Kyoto Indies meetups he visited as he went to festivals such as Tokyo Game Show or BitSummit.
With the current COVID-19 pandemic, the event is forced to be held online; he is currently looking for new ways to keep the community blooming.
2. Takeuchi with “G Braver Burst”

“G Braver Burst” is a free browser game where giant robots fight each other. You can play it here: https://gbraver-burst.com/
Takeuchi is implementing and updating the game with new features almost every week.
3. Ryosuke with Rec
Indie dev and pixel artist Ryosuke made “Rec” last year with TarrCake for the game jam Unity 1-week. The game had a very warm welcome and is now redeveloped into a full-fledged game called “Filmechanism”.

4. WaltzLife with DOOR

PlayMephistoWaltz is a two-people indie studio from South Korea. During the presentation, WaltzLife introduced and showed the evolution of “DOOR”, a 3D puzzle platformer with a labyrinthic stage where a child goes to discover what’s laying in the depth of the heart. The game will be available in early access on Steam this summer.

5. Achamoth with Shop of Tentacles

Achamoth introduced her new game, “Shop of Tentacles”, which is set in Hong Kong. In a surreal gothic atmosphere, the player has to find and raise mysterious tentacles. Since it’s an idle game, the player will be able to enjoy this unusual story without any effort.
The game was selected in the BitSummit Gaiden’s official selection, which was held online on June 27 and 28th.

6. terunon with AbsentedAge

Pharmacist by day, game creator, musician and illustrator by night, terunon is making her 8th game: “AbsentedAge”.
A hybrid between a dungeon crawler and a Tactical RPG, the game provides seamless floor exploration and battles, as a large range of customization.

7. teco with Europe Kikaku Game Movie Laboratory

When Europe Kikaku, a comedic theater company who wrote a good number of movies and TV shows, had its old quirky flash-games experiments on the verge of disappearing because of Flash ending support in 2020, teco came as a savior to port the games in a smartphone app.
Two mini-games are already available, more old and new ones are coming later.
